SOUP OF THE WEEK -- Leek, garlic and spud.


     Soup plus a dash of Worcestershire Sauce and a finger of fresh from the oven granary.


Leeks, garlic clove, onion, spuds, Joe's chilli olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt pepper and a little milk.



Mavis said - Has it got a name? I was educated/ brought up on soup
Owen said - Parsnip? The strangest soup we have had is Orange
Shazam said - Oh, this is lovely. Crumble next!

    What's that flannel doing ,hanging over the bowl. Is it an alternative to a napkin ?

    I think the chilli oil made all the difference. Please wipe around the edge of the bowl before photographing next time, please.

    So: 9/10 for ingredients, 7/10 for presentation = AVERAGE MARK: 8/10.

    I see that Sharon has decreased yet further in age!! Hurrah....this means I'm still a size 8! Sounds like a lush broth......and green too!!!!!!!
