BUTTERNUT SQUASH AND PARSNIP SOUP.

Sunflower seed Granary bread, onions, butternut squash, parsnip, mixed fresh herbs and S&P.

Sorry about the lack of wipe situation!
(This is Owen's dish he had another 'double dip' with a cabbage and broccoli soup.)

The scene post serving.
As the keen eyes amongst you have already spotted, Souperman and his beautiful side kicker, Shazam, went mobile again due to the snow and ice. We were warm.

  1. How did you get it to look like lemon curd??????! And how come Nana's is green and not luminous yellow???? Is the bread in the soup or a side serving? It's really not clear and a little distressing too......>! Answers on a postcard to.....

  2. Dear Auntie Beth,
There, there don't get up set - worse things can happen at sea such as not recognising the difference between your Brassica olerace linne and your elbow.
Mave the Rave opted for a brassica based concoction whilst pilot Owain challenged the basic laws of soup etiquette and opted for a, what we in the trade call, 'Double Dip'.
The viscosity of the Butternut Squash when cooked at a constant 97o C, as all good scientists know, is 5.4, a good 23% lower than cabbage soup.
As for the Sun Flower Granary bread........ bread is bread!
    Coming from a loving kitchen.

    SOUPERMAN!
